Awkward School Dance

by BurningGlory
(Untied States)

My most awkwardest school dance.
Actually, this happened a year ago. There is a boy I am almost obsessed with love for. His name is Joshua, and when no one's listening, I call him my Joshie. There's one problem with my little crush though. The boy doesn't even KNOW me. Literally. We've never really met, but I've seen him walked around the halls of my school. When I first laid eyes on him, I just knew I was in love. So, my creepy side kicking in, I looked him up in the yearbook, and I observed his Facebbok page. Only a little bit though.
Anyways, I was-still am- in love with my wonderful Joshie.
My school had a winter dance with music blazing and lights everywhere.
I never would have thought that My Joshie looked like a friend I have from the back view.
You see, I was playing a game of tag with my friend. We were running all over the place like wild animals. Eventually, of course, I was pronounced "it."

I might have accidentally mistook a certain boy for the friend I was playing tag with.

Poor Joshie...he never really expected it, is the thing.

POKE.

I poked my Joshie laughing hard. When he turned to me, and I saw his face, I have NO clue what I said. It was just a weird noise. Something like how a pig squeals. Whatever it was, I felt my face get painted a bright red, and my face started getting really sweaty. He was staring at me with these EYES that made me feel as though I were shrinking. As much as I wanted to, I couldn't force myself to look away.

The way I think he saw it was like this: "A weirdo I never met before poked me in the back, and now I guess I'll just stare at her."

I RAN

Then, whence I was sitting hidden away from sight, I realized that My Josie had BEAUTIFUL eyes.
