Terri and I grew up together. We met in first grade, and have been friends forever. We spent so much time together growing up, and knew each other so well that it seemed like we shared one brain. As is the logical progression of life, we grew up. We both married in our twenties, and moved to opposite sides of the state. We remained close friends, and talk almost every day. To keep our friendship strong, as with anything important, we invest time in each other. We plan meetings once a month, which is why I am especially happy today. I finally meet with Terri and we head off on our way. Although we talk constantly, there is so much to say to each other. As I look at Terri, time seems to turn back to our days growing up together. I feel euphoric because this is one of the things that makes me happiest. Where we go is not important, but the sharing of our feelings and the joy of company with each other makes this moment special. What makes my life enjoyable is being able to share it with someone I care about. Sharing experiences with a close friend it the ultimate pleasure of life. I hope everyone has a fried to share life with.
