I never play the lottery. It’s just too much of a gamble. So I don’t know why I decided to buy a lottery ticket that day. I just felt like it.
Boy, am I glad I did. It actually paid off. Now I’m getting $1000 a week for the rest of my life! Woo hoo!
Here’s what I did with it for the first year.
First, I bought some new clothes and shoes and paid off some of our immediate bills, then I started shopping around for a new place to live.
I rented a cute little house and then I went out and got a new car.
The dogs went to the vet, my kid got to take driver’s ed, and I got to go to the dentist.
I socked a lot of the money away and made travel plans for the future. I also started going to the beach once a week.
I went out and got some killer laptops for both me and my daughter, and then I got cell phones, and wifi right in my own home.
Rick didn’t like it that I left him but he had to have known it was coming, since about the only reason I was staying with him was a lack of money to leave anyway.
I also put a down payment on a house for my son and his family. I plan to do the same for my daughter later.
I used to think that money was bad. I was an idiot. Money is good. I love money.
