Twenty One was Sweeter than Sixteen

My twenty first birthday was amazing. I had the typical plans that all young people do on that day, have a drink. My friends planned a day that was so much more amazing than that. I spent a wonderful day having my very first massage with my mom and sisters.
They took me out to lunch at the Russian Tea Room in New York, I had always wanted to go, but could never afford it. My sister saved her tips from a month of waitress work for us to be able to go. After a great lunch I left my mom and sisters and went to get my hair done. That evening I met my girlfriends for dinner. I had my first shot of tequila ! It was gross ! The best was yet to come because as we left dinner, my girlfriends had a limo ready to take us out to party.
We hit three different clubs in New York. At every spot they would tell everyone it was my birthday. I was wearing a silly necklace with a shot glass on it. The limo delivered us safely back to my girlfriend's house around 2 in the morning. The night was amazing and it will be one I will remember forever.
