8. Technology and my relationship with others

Technology has definitely changed my relationship with other people, whether it be near hear or world wide. With new spaces to interact with new people like Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, etc., I feel as if it has made my life easier and a lot more better. I only use Facebook, and I use it a lot, and when I am online I can get in contact with my friends easier about missed assignments, past papers, and new events that I should be informed about. Even if you don't use Facebook to interact with friends it is still a really good place to make new ones. So many people are just so nice on face book and all of them are willing to be your friend, even if you just need someone to listen to you. I consider the Facebook innovation to have helped me and is a lot more better in my relationships then anything else. Not only a social network it also helps in getting in contact with old friends, family members far away, and helps for single people find someone who suits them. Being able to do so many things at once is what really attaches me to Facebook, all the friends I have that actually listen and care about me who don't even live near me or who didn't even know that I existed before now want to be friends and actually listen, and care. I am able to talk to people and communicate with people who actually understand me and who want to hear me and actually want to listen because they care so much, and sometimes their might be a few people who wont but their are so many people I have met online that actually listen to me and hear me out and their one of my best friends and we keep in contact all the time. So yes I would say that Facebook has effected my life, but in a positive way, a way in which I can say something on my mind to any of my friends and I wont get judged for it, penalized or have to worry about it getting around school or my parents hearing about it because for me it is so private and helpful and all the people online are just so nice and friendly that it is very hard no to go on Facebook especially for a long amount of time. Facebook has changed my life, but for the better, and even though this sounds strange, I would say that I am very attached to it, and I am never deleting my profile!
