If Television Wasn't Invented

If movies or television were never invented, my family, along with most of the people in society, wouldn’t be where they are today. If television wasn’t invented, then the news couldn’t broadcast, and everyone couldn't be informed about the world around them. Movies are just for recreational purposes, so my family most likely would have spent the evening or weekend spending time outdoors or with friends. If television or movies weren’t invented, it wouldn’t have changed my family dynamic much, because television isn’t an important aspect to my family. Although television may be important to some people and families in this world, there are many other fun and entertaining things to do.
If television wasn’t thought of, then there would be no news or broadcasts to inform the people about the society and environment around them. For example, if television wasn’t invented, no one would be familiar with hurricane Katrina, or any other major incidents around the world. Also, if the news couldn’t air, then nobody would know how to act in society. For example, if there was a criminal loose around town, no one would know if the criminal was walking next to them on the street, or sitting next to them on the bus. If television wasn’t invented, there would be many events occurring, and society would be very different.
Movies were invented to be a recreation, a hobby. If movies weren’t invented, then there would be no movie theatres, and that'd just be one less thing to do for fun. My family wouldn’t change much without movies; we just would have to figure out something else to do in the evening or over the weekend. Movies are fun to watch, and my family loves to get together and enjoy a good comedy or action movie, but movies and television aren’t extremely important to anyone in my family. Movies may be vital to some kids or teenagers, but those certain people should try something new to do with their free time.
The television or movie theatres aren’t key aspects in my family; they shouldn’t be key aspects in any family. Families might have a “movie night” on day a week, but that costs extra money, and they could do something else as a family for free, such as going camping, or inviting friends and family over. Movies and television shouldn’t be a necessity for anyone, because too much of it dulls brain transmission. This happens mostly to children, because children shows have brighter colors and animations. The only thing on television that should be necessary is the news; other things are just recreational.
In conclusion, television or movies shouldn’t really be a necessity to anyone in society. The news is the only important thing on television, and the rest is just for leisure purposes. There are many other things fun to do other than sit around and watch TV and movies all day, like exercising or getting fresh air. Television or movies wouldn’t change my family dynamic at all, because my family doesn’t watch much TV, unless it’s a football game or the news. My family does watch movies quite often, but if they weren’t invented, we wouldn’t suffer.
