PC or Mac?

by Caleb Killins
(Ocala, FL, USA)

PC or Mac? It's a simple question, but so many have a problem choosing one. It's not that hard, they're both computers, they do similar things, so why's it so hard for people to choose? Me myself I have a PC, but I wouldn't mind having a Mac.

I believe people prefer PC's more because they're more familiar with the system. Windows has been around for awhile now, and that's basically what everybody knows that owns a PC. Maybe they don't want to learn a new operating system like Mac. While PC's do have their advantages, there are also their disadvantages. They're more prone to catch viruses than the Mac system. Also they're more complicated than Mac.

Although I own a PC, I'd prefer a Mac. The Mac system just seems more user-friendly. When you first buy one they already come with a lot of features already installed that you would have to buy with a PC system. The simplicity of the system is what I like also. You could be almost dumb on how to use a computer, but the Mac is so simple with its' programming.

In conclusion, I've stated some of my views on PC and Mac. But the question still stands, which do you prefer?
