521. George Washington was one of the most important founders of the United States. Imagine that you and some friends created something and that you were appointed the leader. What would you all create, how were you selected as leader, and what will you do in that role? Why would it succeed or not succeed?

522. At many times in the Revolutionary War and the first few years as the President, Washington did what was best for the nation as opposed to himself. Have you ever done something that was good for the team instead of yourself? If so, what was it and why did you do it? If not, imagine you have and detail other people’s reactions.

523. Imagine that George Washington was born in this day and age. Would he still be a politician or would he work in another profession? How would he use his leadership skills and charisma in the modern world and why?

524. Do you think that George Washington was the best President the United States has ever had? Why or why not? What qualities would have made him better at his job and why?

525. You have decided to run for the presidency of the United States...in the year 1800. How might the campaign process be different back then when compared to today? Without the Internet, television, and radio, how would you spread the word about your platform? Would you win? Why or why not?

526. George Washington became famous because of his strong leadership during a time that absolutely craved it. Nowadays, one can become famous from a wild online video or being a reality television star. Which type of fame would you rather have and why? How might each type of fame be different?

527. What do you think George Washington's friends thought about him during the war and while he was President? What sort of nicknames might they have called him? What pranks might they pull on him when he was least expecting them? How would they view George the regular guy?

528. You have taken control of George Washington's life for one day during either the Revolutionary War or during his presidency. What do you do, how does it feel and what new things might you learn about how people view him? Would you enjoy your out-of-body experience? Why or why not?

529. What other Presidents do you feel deserve some credit on Washington's Birthday? Do you think that each of the Presidents should have a holiday? Why or why not?

530. George Washington has had a state, a capitol, and plenty of towns and people named after him. What would it be like to have your namesake all over the place? Would you be proud? Would you let it go to your head? Why would you deserve it?
