What if Television or Movies Were Never Invented

The one way my family always gets together is if we are all in front of a TV or something along those lines. If television or movies were never invented then my family and I really wouldn’t spend much time together. If my family and I go out then most likely we go out and see a movie. If it wasn’t for television or movies the only time I would be with my family is if I have to.
If television or movies were never invented then in the evening my family and I would maybe just go out to dinner and shopping. Mostly we would not even be together. We would be doing whatever pleases us. Like for me I would be at my friend’s house rather than at my own. My brother and I would probably play a board game if we got bored. Living without television or movies would be hard for us.
I think it would change my family’s dynamic because I think it’s the main reason my family is close. We get together to watch something and when there is a part when something interesting happens or we remember something during that time then we usually end up talking about it. From that subject we move on and for a long time we would have talked about our feelings or whatever. They say that talking to your family is the main way you bond so we would have talked during the movie or show. If there wasn’t anything like that my family wouldn’t really have bonded.
In conclusion, if television or movies were never invented my life would be completely different. I wouldn’t be so close to my family as I am now. There might be other ways a family can bond but for my family it is either a movie night out or in front of the television screen.
