Summer Sights Writing Prompts

151. There are many colorful sights that can be seen on a busy summer beach during the day. What are a few that stick out for you the most? Of those exciting sights, which one do you enjoy the most about the beach and why?

152. How do the sights of the summer beach change when the lights go down and nearly everybody goes home? Imagine that you're walking the beach on the night of a full moon. What do you see and how does it make you feel? Would you rather go to the beach during the day or the night and why?

157. Describe a giant fireworks display in great detail including all of the different colors and shapes formed. Which would you say you enjoy more about fireworks, the sights or the sounds, and why? Would it be strange to watch fireworks without one or the other? Why or why not?

158. Some people want to see fireworks up close and try to set them off on their own. Why might that be a bad idea without an adult supervisor? What are some other dangerous things that people go to great lengths to see and why are they dangerous?

159. Describe the beautiful sight of a table full of summer barbecue and side dishes. Explain why certain food items look good to you and why others might not.

160. Imagine that you've decided to throw a massive pool party and invite all of your friends. What are the decorations you would use to make sure that everything looks perfect? What would your guests think about the decor and the party in general?
