"And you, Betty!" I shouted, sloshing wine out of my plastic cup as I gestured wildly. "You're the worst of them all! Have you ever done an honest day's work in your life?"
Betty looked around nervously at the rest of our-coworkers. In my inebriated state I failed to notice that the party had come to a grinding halt, and all eyes were on me.
"Well?" I thrust my hand towards Betty, inadvertently splashing her with red wine. She threw her arms up and gasped in dismay.
"You-- you're out of control!" She stepped back and clutched her boyfriend's arm. I began to laugh hysterically as my boss pushed me towards the door.
"Elizabeth!" hissed my boss, her face bright red. "This is completely inappropriate!"
"Oh yeah?" By now this seemed like a surreal dream and I was enjoying the strangeness of it. Looking down into the bottom of my glass, I realized I still had a bit of wine left. I quickly splashed it up into my boss's face and continued to laugh as it dripped down onto her collar.
"Looks like the tables have turned!" I shouted, just before falling violently backwards down a steep flight of stairs...
