Writing and Personal Development Books

Over the last few years, these are the writing and personal development books that have helped me the most. Try any one of them on for size and you will be changed in a good way. Enjoy!

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey (learned how to love properly, the best way to look ahead, and the difference between managing and leading)

Ask and It Is Given by Esther Hicks (my introduction into the Law of Attraction)

The Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield (entertainment plus personal development = a fun read)

Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl (learned that we can choose how we want to act)

Happy for No Reason by Marci Shimoff (learned that happiness is truly a choice and under our control)

Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill (a true classic)

50 Success Classics, 50 Self-Help Classics, 50 Prosperity Classics by Tom Butler-Bowdon (my favorite books right now, they're the highlight reel of all success, self-help, and prosperity classics)

Backwards & Forwards: A Technical Manual for Reading Plays by David Ball (learned about writing with the end in mind)

Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert (yeah, yeah, I know, but she's brilliant and I really enjoyed this book :))
