Some people in this world seem to be more fortunate than others. They appear to have come upon success easily and without much hardship. That being said, the belief that they had success handed to them is an illusion. When they had to begin stepping up in their lives, they were ready to answer the call and work toward their purposes. No matter how much money, fame and fortune you can be handed in life, there will come a time when you have to take life on.
If you have had a difficult life and you haven't had much of anything given to you during your existence, this doesn't give you an excuse to lead a less happy, less successful life. Perhaps you have to work harder and you have to work differently than those with start-up capital and a stable family life, but there is one thing that connects you with those more fortunate. It is completely up to you to be a success in your own right.
One of my goals in life is to inspire other people with my works and works. There are days when I don't feel like doing anything at all and I'm overwhelmed by stimuli like video games and Internet articles about movies and television. Many people in the world let themselves be taken over by these distractions and over the course of a decade they've wasted months worth of continuous work. I realize that I can't blame these distractions and I can't blame any of my past decisions or other circumstances that are out of my control. If I'm going to lead a successful life that sees the achievement of my goals, it's totally up to me to break out of my funks and write articles and books that will help people in the world to head in the right direction.
Drop all of your excuses. It's time to take control of your life by stepping up to the plate. Do it today and become the person you always knew you could be.
